Sei
Sei is a name that encompasses many meanings. In Italian, it is "sei": the number that recalls the 6×6 cm wooden grid that defines its structure, but also "you are" — a silent invitation to presence. In Japanese, "Sei" means life: a call to nature, to rhythm, and to regeneration. A place not just to inhabit, but to live with the body, the senses, and a new awareness. Here, the air is scented with Canadian cedar.
Sei non è un prodotto. È un luogo. Una microarchitettura pensata per accogliere rituali d’acqua, di calore e di riposo. Tra interno ed esterno, tra apertura e raccoglimento, tra spazio e tempo per sé.
Designed by Nicholas Bewick in collaboration with Cesare Roversi and Effe, Sei is a complete, modular, and turnkey system, designed to simplify the creation of wellness spaces. The solid wood structure of 6×6 cm houses coordinated modules for sauna, bathtub, sink, relaxation, and light fitness. The technical elements are predefined and harmonized to ensure rapid, reliable installations and great formal coherence.
Another version of the Sei pavilion is installed within the exhibition "Alchemica" curated by Patricia Urquiola at Palazzo Bovara.
