Named after its sixty-centimetre diameter, Sessanta was introduced as an over-countertop washbasin carved entirely from marble — its circular basin, essential lines and flush drain already suggesting an object closer to sculpture than to fixture. The freestanding version extends this proposition into the vertical dimension: the basin now rests on a monolithic hexagonal column in marble, a geometric counterpoint that reinforces the sculptural reading of the piece and gives it full autonomy within the space.
"Sessanta takes its name from the diameter of sixty centimetres."
Both versions are available across a wide selection of stones — Carrara, Carnico, Marquina, Verde Alpi, Emperador, Petit Granit, Travertino — and can be crafted in custom marbles on request.
