Tambre is a washbasin that originates from the bathtub of the same name, reinterpreting its principles and language on a more compact scale. It is defined by a precise and controlled use of okoumé plywood: the wood’s warm tone and fine grain convey a restrained and intimate presence, while the construction — based on assembled planar elements — remains clearly defined.
“From the bath to the basin, Tambre translates the same principle of continuity into a more essential form.”
At each junction, solid wood inserts soften the transitions, giving continuity to the volume. The washbasin extends the same logic across four configurations — countertop, wall-mounted, wall-mounted on column, and integrated within the bathtub — each able to stand independently or as part of a broader composition.
